Hatch once again named one of Chile’s Best Companies for Interns
More than 3,000 young professionals, belonging to 67 companies, participated in the measurement of the Best Companies for Interns in Chile, carried out by the FirstJob. The final list of companies was based on the opinions of interns who worked at the employers between January and August of this year. Interns evaluated their companies in the dimensions of workplace environment, learning and development, tutor support, and work team.
This year, we improved our position in the ranking, moving up from the 21st to the 14th place, an important accomplishment given that this year’s internship program was carried out during the pandemic when our staff were working from home, creating unique challenges in helping our interns feel integrated into to their working teams.
"We are interested in creating the best value proposition for young professionals who join the company, turning this process of academic training into a real first work experience. We are a global company with extensive experience, and we rely on young talent and the contribution of their fresh ideas,” shared Felipe Pizarro, human resources manager, Hatch Chile.
Our internship program in Chile includes students from various universities throughout the country who join our different engineering disciplines to complete this key process in their academic training.
"What stands out most about my experience during the practice is just the fact of knowing a place like Hatch, where everything is done well from the beginning. The professionals have high quality standards and a tremendous fellowship spirit. It's the perfect place to learn how to be an outstanding engineer,” said Christian Paillacán, an intern in Hatch’s simulation team.
