Why do you believe in diversity and inclusion?
As leaders, we need to provide our staff with the opportunity to maximize their potential and succeed in their career aspirations. This can be done by creating a work environment where everyone feels valued and respected while taking on new challenges. Diverse and inclusive teams are higher performers.
What do you think we need to do as individuals to improve inclusivity?
I think we need to be more aware of our unconscious biases, understanding how they influence our behaviors and decision-making processes. We should have empathy and be willing to listen and learn from others.
What does positive change mean to you?
Positive change means not being satisfied with the status quo. We should be prepared to be vulnerable and admit our imperfections. This will allow ourselves to learn and grow from our own experiences and become better role models to others.
What do you think are the toughest challenges facing our clients?
I believe our clients face the same challenges we do of evolving into diverse and inclusive organizations.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud to be considered an Inspirational Ally. It is a great feeling to know you are having a positive impact on others.
What do you like most about working at Hatch? How do you think the Hatch culture is different from other cultures?
Hatch is different from other companies because we live by our Manifesto. Investing time with our colleagues will go a long way in creating an inclusive workspace.
