Why do you believe in diversity and inclusion?

A diverse workforce brings a variety of perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the table, fostering creativity and innovation. Different viewpoints can lead to unique solutions, better problem solving, and effective decisions. Inclusion promotes a positive, respectful, and supportive work environment. It works as a tool to improve employee satisfaction and create higher productivity. It is important for organizations to have a diverse team of leaders as they often perform better financially.

What do you think we need to do as individuals to improve inclusivity?

We should pay attention to what others are saying without interrupting or dismissing their experiences. This shows respect and helps with understanding different perspectives.

It is important to speak up if you see exclusionary language or behavior.

Be mindful of words; opt for language that is inclusive and respectful to everyone and be open to feedback. Building diverse relationships will help us achieve our goals.

What does positive change mean to you?

Positive change means creating a workplace environment where everyone feels respected and comfortable to share their discomfort. Happy and content teams generate innovative, effective, and efficient ideas.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud to be part of Hatch’s India team as we work towards dedicating, delivering, developing, and nurturing the biggest strength of hatch as an organization “its people.” The Hatch India office has continued to grow from our strength since the most difficult times of Covid and till date. During this time, I have gained the trust and confidence of management, peers and, my team for doing any juggernaut task with positivity and embracing all of Hatch’s values.
