World Sustainable Transport Day, celebrated annually on November 26, was declared by the UN General Assembly to recognize the critical role of safe, affordable, accessible, and sustainable transport systems in supporting economic growth, improving social welfare, and enhancing international cooperation and trade.

Here are some key milestones our clients have achieved with us: 

London Waterloo Station's Masterplan recently won the WAFX Award for its outstanding socio-economic and social value strategy. As part of a consortium, Hatch played a pivotal role in shaping the socioeconomic and social value strategy for this landmark project. Read more. 

The PhilaPort's strategic plan, Destination 2040, is a comprehensive roadmap that charts the course for the Port’s future over the next 15 years. We contributed to the plan, assessing the current infrastructure, commercial environment, operations, and plans. Learn more. 

The REM South Shore segment won the prestigious international FIDIC Project Award 2024. The REM promotes sustainability by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 16,800 tonnes annually and generating significant social and economic benefits, including job creation, improved public transit, urban development, and reduced car dependency. Discover more.

Hatch is proud to celebrate the launch of Sound Transit's 2 Line, which promises to have a positive impact on the region.  Find out more. 

After a decade of collaboration, we celebrated the launch of electric train service on Caltrain’s line between San Francisco and San Jose. This electrification project will cut carbon dioxide emissions by 250,000 metric tons annually, equivalent to removing 55,000 cars from the road each year, significantly contributing to regional and state climate action goals. Read the story here.
