most-attractive-employers-canadaToronto, ON— Hatch is proud to announce its inclusion in the prestigious list of Canada's Most Attractive Employers for 2024. This recognition is based on the results of a comprehensive career preference survey conducted by Universum, which involved more than 16,000 students from nearly 200 colleges and universities across Canada.

Hatch has consistently been voted as a Most Attractive Employer by students, and this year is no exception. The company's commitment to fostering a positive work environment, providing exciting career opportunities, and offering competitive benefits has resonated with the next generation of professionals. In the Engineering/IT category, Hatch has climbed up the ranks to secure the 49th position, an improvement from its previous ranking of 54th in 2023.

"We are thrilled to be recognized as one of Canada's Most Attractive Employers once again," said Pierre Olivier, regional managing director, Western Canada, Hatch. "This achievement is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create a workplace that inspires and empowers our employees. At Hatch, we believe in investing in our people, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive in their careers."

Hatch's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent is evident in its comprehensive employee development programs, which include mentorship opportunities, continuous learning initiatives, and a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. The company's dedication to innovation and sustainability also sets it apart, as it actively seeks to tackle some of the world's most complex challenges through its projects and solutions.

In 2023, Hatch hired 400 students to work in all areas of the organization throughout its 25 offices across Canada.

“My experience at Hatch as a student was compelling. Hatch gave me the opportunity to tackle real problems relevant to my field of study through hands-on experiences. I was also exposed to unique project delivery methods, by working in a fully integrated project execution team. I chose to pursue my career at Hatch because of the depth of expertise, and wide range of technical applications that I could potentially explore throughout my career,” shared Gabriela Sigouin, an engineer-in-training in our hydrometallurgy team based in Mississauga, Ontario. Gabriela began her career with Hatch as a student and was hired into a full-time role with the company after completing her undergraduate degree.

Hatch remains committed to providing a workplace that attracts and retains top talent. By fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, Hatch aims to create an environment where employees can thrive and make a meaningful impact.
