Hatch LTK celebrates 100th anniversary with day of service
More than 300 employees spend day volunteering within their communities to create positive change
Pittsburgh, USA — Hatch LTK is marking its centennial anniversary with a day of service, in which more than 300 employees from 17 of its offices across the US and Canada are spending the day volunteering to bring about positive change in their communities.
LTK was founded in Philadelphia, PA in 1921 by Louis Tobias Klauder, who was the sole employee at the time. Over the years, the firm grew to more than 450 employees in 23 offices spread over four countries, including China and Australia. In November of 2020, LTK merged with Hatch, a global engineering, project management, and professional services firm with 9,000-plus employees in the mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
To celebrate this significant milestone, Hatch LTK encouraged employees to spend part of their work day creating positive change by volunteering in the communities in which they live and work. Numerous worthwhile causes and sites were chosen, including food banks, parks, and cultural centers.
“One of our core values at Hatch LTK is ‘engaging great people who make a difference’ and today we lived that value by rolling up our sleeves and pitching in to help our local communities,” said Dominic DiBrito, Hatch’s managing director, Infrastructure, USA. “We’re proud to mark our 100th anniversary by serving those communities that have supported us throughout the years.”
