The Electric Mine 2023 conference

Hatch is excited to announce its participation as a Green sponsor and presenter at the Electric Mine 2023 conference to be held in Tucson, Arizona, USA, from May 23 to 25.

With the increasing adoption of electricity in the mining industry, the significance of developing efficient on-site energy infrastructure for storing and distributing renewable power cannot be understated. This conference serves as a platform for mining companies, OEMs, service providers, and research institutes to share insights and best practices in this rapidly evolving sector.

Michael Bobotis, Engineering Coordinator - Open Pit Mining North America, will deliver a talk titled "Zero Emission Implementation Pathways in Mining" focusing on surface mining. The presentation is scheduled for May 23 at 3:00 p.m.

Troy Charsley, Manager Mine Electrical, will present "Starting Electric - A Look at Early Mine Development Using Battery-Electric Vehicles" with a focus on underground mining. This session will take place on May 24 at 4:30 p.m.
